Mateus is a full-time Lecturer in Hospitality & Tourism Managements Studies at University of Aruba (UA). With a Bachelor's degree (2017) and a Master's degree (2021) in Tourism from the Federal University of Paraná, Brazil (UFPR), he has 12 years of professional experience in tourism, project management, consultancy, destination management, entrepreneurship and education. Previously, he had the opportunity to work with organizations such as the Brazilian Tourism Board (Embratur), where he served as a Project Advisor; Amplia Mundo, where he was a Project Manager; and TUI, considered the largest tour operator in the world. Always looking for data, insights, and trends, he conducts research at the University of Aruba and in three research groups in Brazil (TEEM/UFPR, MobTur/USP, and LETS/UnB), having published articles in scientific journals in the United States, Brazil, Portugal, Argentina, and Turkey.
