Biography
Kareline van der Linden is a Research Lecturer in the Academic Foundation Year program and a lecturer in the Organization, Governance, and Management program. Her teachings center around Research Foundation, Methodology, Reporting, and Strategic Management. Kareline has a passion for data-driven decision making and as a business researcher and strategist, she has worked in the business advisory, finance, and tourism industry, at reputable private and semi-private organizations such as PwC Aruba, Centrale Bank van Aruba, and Aruba Tourism Authority. Using research Kareline helps organizations become more research and data savvy, and equips them for better decision-making. Kareline's research interest lies mostly in change management, innovation, external organization trend analysis, and internal organizational developments with a special focus on employee (and student) motivation.
Kareline achieved her Bachelor's degree in Business Administration at the University of Curacao and continued with her Master's studies in the Netherlands at the University of Tilburg, where she achieved her Master's in Strategic Management and later a Research Master in Strategy, and Organization. She also holds teaching certifications of Certificate hospitality education from the American Hotel and Lodging Education Institute (CHE) and FAS minitraining.
