Bart van Donselaar is a PhD candidate at the Research Center for the Horizon Europe Pluridentities project. Within the Pluridentities consortium, he conducts doctoral research at the University of Aruba and the Vrije Universiteit Brussel, under the supervision of Dr Eric Mijts and Prof. Jill Surmont. Bart holds a Master's degree in Multilingualism, having specialized in minority language education. He has previously worked on developing post-training tools for elementary school teachers in the Low Saxon language area. His current research focuses on language in education policy at the national, regional, school- and classroom-layers, with specific attention to minoritized language practices on the island of Aruba.
